For over two decades, John has been litigating cases in Federal, state and municipal courts throughout New York and New Jersey. During that time, John has handled a diverse array of matters, including negligence cases, the defense of hospitals and physicians, and a broad range of health care disputes.
After growing up on Long Island, John opted for a ski jacket and gloves, choosing to live in Upstate New York for the next seven years as he attended college in Albany and law school in Buffalo. While awaiting admission to practice law, John assisted a Special Prosecutor in Niagara County to obtain a guilty verdict in a high-profile murder trial, thereby cementing his passion for litigation and the courtroom. John then returned to the New York metropolitan area, where he has remained ever since.
John is a seasoned, versatile litigator comfortable representing both plaintiffs and defendants. On the plaintiffs’ side, he helped obtain numerous verdicts and settlements including a multi-million-dollar award for the victim of an ATV accident. On the defense side, he has helped to secure numerous dismissals, including an award of summary judgment for a large hospital accused of psychiatric malpractice resulting in a patient’s severe facial disfigurement, and the loss of an eye.
John lives in Mamaroneck with his wife (a school teacher in Rye Neck), and their two children.
