Federal Court Preliminarily Approves Nationwide Class Action Settlement
On May 4, 2020, United States District Court Judge Lawrence E. Kahn issued an Order preliminarily approving a nationwide, class action settlement with Ford regarding its 2015-2018 F-150 trucks (and certain, subsequent model year F-250 to 550 trucks) concerning a defective door latch mechanism which impedes the trucks’ door latches from locking in freezing temperatures. The Court appointed Denlea & Carton as Class Counsel, and directed that Notice of the Settlement be shared with Class Members. A link to the Settlement Website (to be maintained by the Settlement Administrator) will be posted here shortly. A final fairness hearing is scheduled for December 2, 2020.
