Determining Liability in Car Accident Cases
Many car accidents are caused by a motorist’s careless or negligent operation of their vehicle. Reckless driving is a common cause of collisions. It can have devastating consequences, including serious injuries and wrongful death.
Individuals involved in a car accident are encouraged to consult with an attorney to determine their legal options. Depending on the circumstances of the case, individuals or their families may be entitled to compensation for their injuries. In the State of New York, you generally have three years to file a claim for personal injury and two years from the date of your loved one’s death to file a lawsuit based on wrongful death.
